Ladies and gentlemen, i give you the greatest performance of the original Woodstock festival-- Next to Ten Years After mabye......
Also- give it up for the drummer Michael Shrieve who was a mere 19 years old at the time of this performance.

I am a man who loves that rock and roll music. I like to know about it, learn new things about it, and i like to talk all things music. I check several websites every day to find the births, deaths, and other significant events for "today" in Rock and roll history.
I do it because i like to. I find it interesting. I started this blog to share my findings with all those on the world wide webernets.
I like to keep it simple. This is not, by any means, a list of every historical event that has happened on this day (There are are plenty of real websites to find that kind of information.) This is my personal daily pick, and in most cases a video to go along with it.
Nothing fancy.
I try to get to it every day, but sometimes there's just nothing worth posting about.

I've finally decided to put my vinyl-to-MP3 turntable to good use. I'll be posting some random shit from my collection of scratchy old records.
I haven't really decided what kind of theme i'm going to go with. I have a lot of novelty records, junk store randomness, soundtracks, and a shitload of old rock and roll 45's.

I guess i'll just go where the mood takes me.
